The luxury Caribbean resort will launch in 2027

Kerzner International Holdings Limited will open a new One&Only resort with a community of private homes in Antigua.

This latest addition to the One&Only collection, slated to open in 2027, will expand the ultra-luxury resort brand into the Caribbean, pairing Antigua’s beautiful landscapes with One&Only hospitality to create a luxury resort experience.

The resort will be located at Half Moon Bay on the southeast side of the island on a choice stretch of coastline. The 132-acre site overlooks a secluded semi-circular beach, adjacent to a protected national park, with cliffs rising into panoramic views over the Caribbean.

The architectural design of the resort will respect the terrain and minimal impact will be made to the location’s ecosystem during development.

Kerzner International CEO Philippe Zuber said: “This is a significant moment for the considered growth of the One&Only portfolio, we have been searching for a location in this region for a long time, and we have now found a destination that not only meets but exceeds our vision for creating one-off resorts and experiences.”

Antigua and Barbuda prime minister Gaston Browne added “We eagerly anticipate the One&Only resort at Half Moon Bay, which promises to be a marquee hospitality project in the Caribbean and the flagship of Antiguan and Barbudan tourism product.”

The upcoming resort in Antigua joins a number of highly anticipated launches for One&Only, including One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai, UAE (opening January 2024) and One&Only Kéa Island in Greece (opening Spring 2024).
