Emerald Cruises unveils new superyacht cruising itinerary for 2023

Emerald Sakara’s inaugural season will include the Seychelles as a new destination

Emerald Cruises has unveiled the details of Emerald Sakara’s maiden voyage in 2023. Joining the line’s established vessel, the Emerald Azzurra, the Emerald Sakara will embark on an 11-day Tropical Charms of the Seychelles itinerary, departing 23 February 2023.

The itinerary will take guests on a round-trip from Victoria, Mahé Island, the capital of the Seychelles, to the islands of Sainte Anne, Cousin, Praslin, Grande Soeur, Curieuse, La Digue and Aride – all in the Seychelles.

Marking not only the launch of the new superyacht, but also Emerald Cruises first sailing in the Indian Ocean, highlights include an exploration of Sainte Anne Marine National Park and its beaches; a chance to see Cousin Island’s turtle nesting sites, and a discovery of Aride Island, a nature reserve hosting one of the most substantial seabird populations in the region.

Both of Emerald Cruises’ custom-built superyachts feature balconies on 88% of cabins, a large infinity pool, spa, gym and marina platform with a number of “marina toys” available, such as paddleboards and snorkelling equipment. Each superyacht has a maximum guest capacity of 100, with a crew of 64.

In addition to the new Indian Ocean sailing, Emerald Cruises has four further itineraries departing for the first time in 2023.
