Oceania Cruises releases new Alaska...

Itineraries range from seven to 12 days and on board perks include free champagne

Oceania Cruises has announced that recently rejuventated Riviera will sail her first season in Alaska in summer 2025.

The 1,250-guest ship will offer travellers the opportunity to explore some of the world’s most breathtaking locales across America’s largest state, with immersion in local communities and unique culinary experiences at the heart of itineraries.

Riviera will visit ports of call including Ketchikan, Sitka, Kodiak and the Hubbard Glacier, with itineraries ranging from seven to 12 days.

All suites and staterooms have been reimagined with lavish comforts, custom furnishings and elegant wood finishes.

Guests will be offered shore excursion credit of up to US$1,600, in addition to a number of other valuable inclusions including free roundtrip airfare, airport transfers, champagne, gourmet specialty dining and unlimited WiFi.

Oceania Cruises president Frank A Del Rio said: “The decision to elevate our presence in the Alaska region was easy. Sailing on board Riviera is the ultimate way to explore this rugged state, while enjoying her distinctive residential luxury.”

With one chef for every 10 guests, travellers have seven restaurants to choose between, including The Grand Dining Room, Polo Grill, Red Ginger, Toscana, Jacques, Chef’s Market Dinners, Terrace Café and Waves Grill.
