Riviera Travel adds four new tours to 2024 European collection

Seventy itineraries now available to book

UK-based Riviera Travel has released its full European escorted tour programme for 2024, featuring two new departures focusing on rail travel and two new itineraries designed for solo travellers.

Now available to book, the itineraries cover destinations across Europe with tours running from March until November.

A total of 631 European escorted departures are available next year, covering 70 itineraries, including 50 dedicated solo tours and 12 ‘walk and discover’ tours.

The Discover Italy by Rail – Turin, Venice & Rome itinerary includes walking excursions in Turn and Venice, a guided tour of the Colosseum, a ride on a Venetian gondola, and a wine and cheese tasting in Frascati. The itinerary leads in at US$3,250.

Also new for next year is the eight-day Switzerland’s Golden Pass Railway, Lake Geneva & Montreux tour. The itinerary includes guided tours of Montreux and Geneva with a Lake Geneva cruise, a visit to Chateau de Chillon with a cheese tasting, a trip to a Swiss chocolate factory, a train journey on the Golden Pass Express, a cable car ride in the Vaudois Alps, and a wine tasting in Chexbres. Prices start from US$3,500.

Riviera Travel has added two new tours for solo travellers to its 2024 collection. The 16-day Ecuador & the Galapagos itinerary includes guided tours in Quinto and Cuenca, a boat tour of Academy Island, and visits to Mindo Cloud Forest, El Cajas National Park, Santa Cruz highland reseve, the Charles Darwin Research Station, San Cristobel wildlife conservation centre and a Panama hat factory. The lead-in price is US$7,520.

Also new is the eight-day Helsinki, Tallinn & Riga itinerary, which includes five guided tours to Helsinki, Suomenlinna Fortress, Kadriorg Palace and gardens, Tallinn and Riga, as well as a visit to Tartu and a ferry crossing from Helsinki to Tallinn. Prices start from US$2,500.

All itineraries include return flights or trains from within the UK, transfers, all scheduled visits and guided tours, breakfast and select meals and the services of a Riviera Travel tour manager throughout.
