2 Earth Hotels to open in Saudi Arabia

UAE-based brand to debut in kingdom with openings in Riyadh and Jeddah

Earth Hotels is set to debut in Saudi Arabia with the opening of two properties in Riyadh and Jeddah, introducing the brand’s eco-conscious hospitality approach to the kingdom.

Born in the UAE, the brand is targeting "the modern and mindful traveller" with "experiential hubs where people live, work, play and grow", said Rami Moukarzel, Earth Hotels co-founder and Managing Partner.

The two new properties will collectively bring 375 keys to Saudi’s cities with the first hotel in Riyadh set to open in the third quarter of 2026.

Located in the Al Maathar district, close to key attractions and the Diplomatic Quarter, Earth Riyadh will offer 86 signature rooms, lofts and suites with designs that are bold, youthful, locally inspired and tech-driven.

With experiences central to the offering, Earth Riyadh will feature community spaces, including a membership-based co-working zone, a wellbeing area with red light therapy treatments, cold plunge pool and a courtyard yoga studio, as well as a music room and a rooftop day club, with a programme of year-round events.

There will also be a casual restaurant, a cafe-bar and a grab-and-go counter.

Slated to open a year later in the third quarter of 2027, Earth Jeddah will debut as the city’s first integrated urban community by the sea. Part of a mixed-use waterfront destination, the property will blend heritage-inspired architecture and modern hospitality, bringing 110 hotel rooms and 179 serviced apartments, as well as co-working zones and social spaces.

Tapping into its Red Sea waterfront location, the property will also feature an expansive wellbeing and longevity hub with offerings in cryotherapy and float therapy, as well as high-performance training zones.

With a collective project value of more than US$202 million, Earth Hotels currently has a portfolio of four urban resorts, including branches in Lisbon and Porto in Portugal.

The group was expected to open two properties in the UAE in 2025, but there has been no update.
