Abu Dhabi’s Wizz Air touches down in Israel

Starting this month, the route between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi will operate thrice weekly

Abu Dhabi-based airline Wizz Air has officially commenced its service to Israel with a route between Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi.

Flights on this route will initially operate three times per week before increasing to a schedule of daily flights between the two Middle Eastern capitals. The flights bring Israeli travellers a low fare opportunity to visit Abu Dhabi and explore the rest of the UAE.

As Israel is currently on Abu Dhabi’s green list of destinations, inbound passengers arriving from the country are exempt from mandatory quarantine measures after landing in Abu Dhabi. Passengers will only be required to undergo PCR testing upon arrival at Abu Dhabi Airport.

The carrier has also announced three new routes connecting Abu Dhabi to Belgrade, Serbia, and the Egyptian cities of Sohag and Luxor.

Book flights at www.wizzair.com and via the airline’s mobile app
