UAE-based carrier Air Arabia adds Bangkok to its global network

The low-cost carrier will operate direct daily flights between Sharjah and the Thai capital

Air Arabia, the Middle East and North Africa’s first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) operator, today announced the launch of its direct flights between Sharjah, UAE and Bangkok, Thailand.

The new flights between Sharjah International Airport and Suvarnabhumi International Airport will operate daily, starting from 30 June 2023. 

Flight G9 901 will depart from Sharjah at 22:25 and arrive in Bangkok at 07:50 the next day. The return leg on flight G9 902 will depart Bangkok at 09:00 and arrive in Sharjah at 12:25.

Air Arabia group chief executive officer Adel Al Ali said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our latest route to Bangkok, the vibrant capital city of Thailand. This exciting addition to our route network from Sharjah International Airport reaffirms our unwavering commitment to continuously provide our customers with new options of affordable air travel.

Air Arabia Group currently operates a fleet of 68 Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR aircraft.
