The pandemic has caused the demand for private flying to take off
As travellers seek alternatives to commercial flights, Alliance Jet, a luxury private jet operator, has increased its presence in the GCC to meet the demand.
The airline has opened its first Dubai charter sales office and now also operates from a private terminal at Dubai World Central at Al Maktoum International Airport.
The demand for private air travel has increased since the onset of the pandemic. Alliance Aviation Group group CEO Brendan McQuaid said: “Having a presence in the GCC has been our priority over recent months. Travel has changed immensely since the pandemic started and, in this region especially, we’re seeing exceptional demand for private flights.”
The airline, which caters to both business and leisure travellers, now has a fleet of luxury Bombardier jet aircraft based in the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, with operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Alliance Jet currently operates both a long-range Global 6000 and a medium-range Challenger 605, with further expansion of the Bombardier fleet planned in the coming months.
