Anantara debuts in Ireland with Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel

Occupying the original Marker hotel, the property has had a complete refurbishment  

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas will officially make its debut in Ireland with the opening of Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel.  

The property is one of the Irish capital's most contemporary buildings and is set in the heart of Silicon Docks, an area named with a nod to Silicon Valley due to the high concentration of multinational high-tech companies located in the area. 

Previously known as The Marker, a significant renovation has now been completed at the iconic Dublin hotel, which is a member of Leading Hotels of the World. 

All the 187 bedrooms have been refurbished while the lobby and bar have been refreshed with the addition of new soft furnishings, bespoke cabinetry and custom furniture.

The only five-star hotel in the area, Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel has eight state-of-the-art event and meeting facilities, as well as18 junior corner suites and three large executive suites. 

The hotel comprises 187 guest rooms

A destination restaurant, Forbes Street by Gareth Mullins, will feature locally sourced products served with an Irish twist.

Additional onsite facilities include a spa, which offers an infinity pool, sauna and eucalyptus-infused steam room, alongside a series of new Signature Anantara Spa treatments inspired by indigenous Irish ingredients.

The hotel will also offer guest experiences including wild swimming, a night of storytelling with a traditional ‘seanachai’ (Gaelic for storyteller), a racing experience with a leading horse trainer and a decadent Breakfast By Design private rooftop dining to kickstart the day. 

The spa features an infinity pool

In the surrounding area visitors to the city can enjoy a guided walk through the culture and heritage of the Docklands, which date back to the 18th century offering a wide range of options for foodie travellers.

The Dublin hotel will be the 7th Anantara in Europe, joining Anantara Vilamoura Algarve Resort in Portugal; the Anantara Villa Padierna Palace in Marbella, Spain; Anantara New York Palace Budapest in Hungary; Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel in Italy; Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel in France and Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam in Netherlands.
