Half of Azamara Onward’s voyages will follow the brand’s ‘Country-Intensive’ itineraries, which allow more time on land with 85 ‘late nights’ and 21 overnight stays across Europe.

Azamara Onward’s inaugural deployment will also feature a series of ‘exotic voyages’, ranging from seven to 15 nights in duration, and visiting destinations such as the Black Sea and Odesssa in the Ukraine.

Land tours include four-night pre-cruise trip ‘Wonderous Cappadocia’ in Turkey; a two-night ‘Stay Local’ in Istanbul (pictured), and a five-night pre- or post-cruise ‘Mythological Greece’ trip taking in archaeological sites in Athens, Olympia, Delphi and Cape Sounion, including the Acropolis and the Sanctuary of Delphi.

“We’re thrilled to introduce our fourth ship to our guests and travel partners next year and welcome them to join us for the christening of Azamara Onward on her maiden voyage,” said the line’s president, Carol Cabezas.

“As the leader in destination-immersion, we look forward to connecting our guests with people and cultures of the world and bringing guests to smaller, unique ports that are only accessible to smaller ships.”
