Francesco Pompilio brings a wealth of international hospitality experience to his new role

Centara Hotels & Resorts has appointed Francesco Pompilio as the new general manager of adult-only Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa Maldives.

Having worked in countries including Italy, the UK, the UAE and Vietnam for more than two decades, Pompilio has a background in hotel conversions and pre-openings.

David Good, executive vice-president of hotel operations at Centara Hotels & Resorts, expressed his enthusiasm for this appointment, saying: "We are thrilled to welcome Francesco Pompilio to the Centara family.
