Connections to launch first-ever Explore Hungary event in Budapest

B2B events specialist Connections, the sister company to Connecting Travel, will stage the first-ever Explore Hungary event in Budapest from 26 to 29 April 2026, in partnership with Visit Hungary.

The debut edition will unite luxury travel agencies from across Europe and the US with leading Hungarian hotels, resorts, DMCs and experience providers for three days of curated one-to-one meetings and immersive networking opportunities.

Hosted across flagship venues and supported by local experience partners, the programme will follow Connections’ signature format, blending business appointments with cultural, culinary and destination-focused activities that spotlight Budapest and Hungary’s wider attractions.

While the capital will serve as the main hub, the Explore Hungary event has been crafted to showcase the country’s diverse luxury travel offering, from its historic wine regions and countryside retreats to lakeside escapes, wellness resorts and regional gastronomy.

A post-event familiarisation trip will allow selected delegates to explore beyond Budapest and design more varied itineraries for their clients.
