Dubai hotel room rates reach three-year high

Dubai hotel room rates reach three-year high

The performance has been attributed to the increase in visitors heading to Expo 2020 Dubai

According to the latest figures from data analytics firm STR, average daily rates (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) at Dubai’s hotels are at the highest they’ve been in three years.

Performance data recorded up to the end of October show very promising figures.

Occupancy levels were at 82% with an ADR of AED777 and RevPAR at AED634

The market’s absolute ADR and RevPAR levels were the highest for any month since January 2018 and February 2018 respectively.

Expo 2020 Dubai, which launched on 1 October 2021, was cited as a possible reason for the surge in performance.  There have been more than 3.5 million visits to Expo 2020 Dubai since the event opened and it will run until 31 March 2022.
