Dubai Tourism showcases homegrown chefs in new video

Thirty-second promotional clip highlights the emirate as a foodie destination

Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has been showcasing the emirate as a desirable travel destination with a series of videos.

Most recently, they garnered the world’s attention with a trailer-style clip featuring Hollywood stars Zac Efron and Jessica Alba.

Now, with ‘Dubai: Food, Glorious Food’, DTCM and Visit Dubai are showcasing some of Dubai’s most talented chefs.

The new 30-second release includes the likes of Tresind’s Himanshu Saini, pitmaster Hattem Mattar, Kinoya’s Neha Mishra and Dubai culinary stalwarts Reif Othman and Alex Stumpf.

In the video’s description, Visit Dubai says: “That first bite of a juicy shawarma. The crackle of crispy luqaimat. The sheer brilliance of a celebrity plate. These are just a few of the culinary experiences you can witness in this masterpiece telling of Dubai’s exploding gastronomy scene.”

The video invites viewers to set aside their preconceived notions about Dubai’s dining scene and delve into the wide variety of experiences on offer, from fine dining to street food.
