Dubai welcomes second Voco hotel

Now an IHG-operated Voco, the former Bonnington Hotel has had a makeover

IHG Hotels & Resorts has expanded its regional footprint with the opening of Voco Bonnington Dubai.

Marking the brand’s second Voco property in Dubai, the former Bonnington Hotel has been rebranded and modernised to elevate the guest experience.

As part of the works carried out at the 208-room hotel, guest rooms have been upgraded with bedding made from recycled materials, organic amenities by Antipodes in larger dispenser bottles, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, executive desks and in-room refreshments.

The F&B outlets – McGettigan’s Irish pub, The Cavendish all-day restaurant, and the Authors’ Lounge in the lobby – remain the same, while Healey’s Bar has been reimagined as The Cheeky Camel. Other facilities include Le Michel hair and nail salons.

Located in Jumeirah Lake Towers the property is minutes away from DMCC metro station, giving easy access to Dubai Marina across the Sheikh Zayed Road, and Expo 2020 Dubai site, which has its own station. Dubai International Airport is around 30 minutes drive, while Abu Dhabi airport is less than an hour away.
