Dubai's Atlantis The Royal schedules launch party for January 2023

The event will follow Kylie Minogue's return to Atlantis, The Palm for New Year's Eve

The hotly anticipated launch of the 795-key Atlantis The Royal hotel – the luxury big sister to Dubai's Atlantis, The Palm – has been confirmed to take place in January 2023.

The upcoming launch party is rumoured to be even more lavish than the US$25 million bash thrown to mark the launch of Atlantis, The Palm in 2008, in which Kylie Minogue performed to a VIP audience that included an estimated 2000 celebrities.

At that time, Dubai was a relatively unknown holiday destination. It's thought that the party at Atlantis, The Palm put the destination on the global map.

Kylie Minogue will once again entertain guests at Atlantis, The Palm at the close of 2022, ringing in the New Year celebrations.

Details of the Atlantis The Royal opening and launch party are yet to be confirmed.
