Dubai’s The First Collection Business...

The hotel will join the recently opened The First Collection at Jumeirah Village Circle

Operated by the hospitality division of The First Group, The First Collection hotel brand has announced the opening of its second Dubai-based hotel, The First Collection Business Bay.

The launch will mark the lifestyle brand’s second property in Dubai, building on the success of The First Collection Jumeirah Village Circle.

The new hotel, located in Business Bay, will cater to corporate travellers, as well as leisure visitors as it’s within close proximity to attractions including Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Dubai Water Canal.

The hotel features 437 spacious and sustainably designed guest rooms and suites. Onsite facilities include an open-air swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gym and a luxury spa offering a host of high-end treatments.

The First Group’s vice president of Hotel Operations, Karim Abdelhamid said: “The First Collection Business Bay reflects our commitment to regional growth. The First Collection Business Bay will be home to multiple F&B outlets, including The Blacksmith Bar & Eatery and Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery. Joining these, will be family-friendly all-day dining spot Vyne, which will serve up classic Levantine comfort food, including Turkish pides and Arabic manakeesh.

The First Group senior vice president of food and beverage Mark Patten said: “We’re so excited to be opening The First Collection Business Bay Hotel, the second of our fabulous homegrown brands in the UAE. We will be offering an array of theatrical and memorable culinary concepts for guests to enjoy, including our third Risen Café & Artisanal Bakery, which has a grab-and-go option in the lobby. Plus we’ll have The Blacksmith Bar & Eatery 2.0, offering a first-of-its-kind butcher shop and live entertainment spaces. Additionally, there’s our Mediterranean, Levant-style restaurant Vyne, with an exquisite terrace overlooking the pool and the city skyline. And then later on this year, a new al-fresco shisha lounge will also serve Arabesque-style cuisine.”
