Emirates announces multiple partnerships at ITB Berlin 2024

Dubai-based airline welcomed 6,000 visitors to its stand to experience its latest products and initiatives

Emirates wrapped up its participation at ITB Berlin 2024 last week, hosting more than 260 meetings across the three-day travel and tourism event.

The airline leveraged its return to ITB Berlin by showcasing its latest products, including the A380 Economy Class seat, Emirates Premium Economy seat and the First Class suite, as well as the newest generation A380 Onboard lounge, for the first time in Germany.

Emirates sealed deals with travel eight companies, including cruise operators, tourism boards and airlines across Europe.

News collaborations were forged with the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), the Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) and Tourism Ireland, which will build on Emirates’ ongoing commitment to support inbound tourism in those three markets, while bringing travellers from those destinations into Dubai.

In line with Emirates’ efforts to expand its footprint in Europe, the airline also signed MoUs with operators including ITA, Icelandair and GO7. The new partnerships will be activated over the next few months.

Through the renewal of Emirates’ partnerships with TUI and AIDA Cruises, the airline will also help bolster Dubai’s growing cruise industry. The city houses some of the most modern maritime infrastructure in the world, with the capacity to handle thousands of cruise passengers.
