Emirates reopens its first class lounge at DXB

Services range from complimentary facial treatments to shoe polishing  

Emirates’ dedicated first-class lounge is part of the carrier’s business-class facility, which opened in July 2020.

Emirates reports that a full complement of perks are available at the lounge, including complimentary facial treatments and shoeshine services, plus a choice of four vintages at the dedicated Moët & Chandon bar.

A new dining menu has also been introduced in response to customer feedback with 55 individual dishes including a char-grilled Wagyu burger, 72-hour braised beef short ribs, foie gras terrine and Black Angus tenderloin. A selection of vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

The carrier reinstated its full inflight dining service back in November 2020, with onboard lounges repositioned as takeaway bars with limited seating and social distancing in place.
