Emirates to recruit 3,000 cabin crew as part of expansion drive

The Dubai-based carrier is now flying to more than 120 cities, 90% of its pre-pandemic network

Emirates has said that it has launched a worldwide recruitment drive to hire 3,000 cabin crew and 500 airport services employees to join its Dubai hub over the next six months.

Potential candidates have been instructed to refer to the airline’s website for additional job descriptions, recruitment criteria and the application process for positions based in the UAE where personal income is not taxed.

Emirates Group  posted its first non-profitable year in over three decades, recording an annual loss of AED22.1bn ($6bn) for the financial year ending 31 March 2021, compared with a Dhs1.7bn ($456m) profit reported the previous  year. During that period, redundancies were implemented across all parts of the business, resulting in a total workforce reduction of 31% to 75,145 employees.
