Ennismore has announced its first SO/ development in Saudi Arabia, SO/ Hotel & Residence, Jeddah Tahlia, due to open in 2023.
SO/ Hotel & Residence, Jeddah Tahlia will be housed in a newly built standalone development, combining guest rooms, suites, serviced apartments and five new restaurants.
The property will have 147 keys, including 40 hotel rooms, 77 one-bedroom apartments, 19 two-bedroom apartments and 11 three-bedroom apartments, ideal for extended stays.
In addition, the property will have more than 3500 square metres of flexible space, which will be curated to reflect the hotel's cultural and events programming, as well as its wellness facilities.
The hotel's reception area will play host to a boutique coffee shop, while the plaza on the mezzanine level will offer a range of curated gastronomic experiences, including an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant, a contemporary Levantine offering and an Asian eatery. The roof terrace on the 6th floor is set to become one of Jeddah's most sought-after destinations, offering elevated surf 'n' turf cuisine and an extensive shisha collection.
SO/ is a collection of hotels defined by design and intrinsically linked to the world of fashion, and SO/ Hotel & Residence, Jeddah Tahlia interiors have been compiled in collaboration with Kristina Zanic, one of the region's leading designers.
The hotel is tailored to both business and leisure guests and is located in close proximity to the city’s key areas, including the Business District, the Corniche and Tahlia Street, a luxury shopping district.
Ennismore partnered with Al Ameen Distinctive Company for Urban Development. Al Ameen's CEO Khalid Abdul Ghaffar said: "The SO/ Hotel & Residence, Tahlia Jeddah is the newest generation of hotels and is themed around fashion.
