Waterfront destination offers private boat access, immersive dining and a longevity clinic
Ennismore has opened Aliée Istanbul, a luxury property on the shores of the city’s Golden Horn where guests arrive by boat.
This opening marks the first Paris Society Collection property in Türkiye, and the second hotel for Ennismore after Hyde Bodrum, an adults-only lifestyle hotel that opened last year.
Celebrated for its distinct blend of “quiet luxury” and curated experiences, the Paris Society Collection brand puts art, gastronomy and immersive living centre stage and Aliée Istanbul is no exception, with local craftsmanship, curated artworks, interactive dining and tailored wellness experiences part of the offering.
Located along the banks of the Golden Horn, once the port of ancient Istanbul, Aliée offers a waterfront retreat that feels exclusive yet accessible. Guests arrive by speed boat and are also within easy reach of nearby landmarks such as the Rahmi Koç Museum and Galata Tower.
Designed as a community, the property includes 122 uniquely designed accommodations spread across four historic buildings, including the Heritage Villa, a reimagined Turkish bath that’s now an opulent private residence.
Suite categories range from the lavish top-floor Liberté Suite, which overlooks the water, to the ground-floor Véranda Suites in the building’s historic core with soaring ceilings and private gardens complete with open-air fireplaces for outdoor entertaining.
The most expansive accommodation at Aliee, the Liberté occupies a top-floor setting and features a duplex layout, two king-sized beds, a fireplace, private terrace and large windows for panoramic vistas.
All accommodations come with luxuries such as Nespresso coffee machines, as well as bespoke turndown rituals, curated minibars and individualised moments such as handwritten welcome notes and handpicked florals.
Some suites feature spacious balconies overlooking the water, others have garden views, and many provide luxurious all-marble bathrooms with copper roll-top baths.
At the heart of Aliée’s offering is its distinctive food and beverage programme, curated in partnership with Paris Society.
Immersive dining takes centre stage with Taste by Thomas Bühner, where three-Michelin-lauded chef Bühner leads multi-sensory, interactive dining experiences; while the sultry, Paris-inspired Mondaine de Pariso Istanbul combines theatrical dinner shows and Belle Epoque grandeur.

Other culinary highlights include The Little House, an intimate venue set in a former royal garden that pairs plush Turkish design with farm-to-table dining; and al fresco venue Hasbahçe, which dishes up Neapolitan-Turkish pizza in lush greenery with panoramic views.
For drinks, there’s the Pink Bar, serving signature cocktails inspired by the city’s famed sunsets, a dedicated wine bar and a champagne-focused bar located in the property’s waterside clubhouse.
For the more health-conscious, there’s also a tea lounge served by expert sommeliers.
Wellbeing is a major focus at Aliée, with its expansive three-storey wellness centre home to marble hammams, lagoon-style pools and advanced contrast therapy zones.
A dedicated Longevity Clinic offers personalised health journeys, including biohacking treatments, while the waterfront-located Well+ Active studio is home to ultra-modern fitness technology.
Completing the resort’s lifestyle offering is the Aliée Swim Club, a chic country club-inspired area set on sweeping lawns that’s open to both residents and select city members.
Commenting on the opening, Gaurav Bhushan, co-CEO of Ennismore said: “Ennismore is committed to crafting meaningful lifestyle and leisure experiences through creative storytelling, innovative design, exceptional culinary destinations, and dynamic programming.”
The opening of Aliée comes at a time of significant momentum for Istanbul’s hospitality sector. In 2025 alone, the pipeline includes major openings, such as Hilton’s new Istanbul Airport hotel, Curio Collection and Tapestry Collection’s Turkish debuts, and several new lifestyle and luxury additions citywide.
More than 1,600 hotel rooms are slated for launch by leading hospitality names across Turkiye in 2025.
Globally, Ennismore is set to unveil more than 20 hotels in 2025, with an increasingly prominent presence in the Middle East and GCC. This includes three openings in Saudi Arabia, with the recently opened Rixos Obhur Jeddah the first to launch this year, plus one in Abu Dhabi and two in Egypt.
