The newly opened space comprises a roof terrace, a late-night bar and a cigar lounge

The Arts Club Dubai – the first international outpost of the famed private members’ club from London – has opened its fifth floor, comprising a 23,000 square foot roof terrace, new Seventies-inspired late-night lounge Vega, and Oscuro cigar lounge.

The rooftop terrace offers views of Dubai’s skyline and is home to an outdoor bar serving some of the club’s signature cocktails. Members will also be able to indulge in a menu of small plates, listen to live DJ sets and unwind at intimate tables and luxurious cabanas.

Design by Dimorestudio

Created in collaboration with Dimorestudio, the rooftop design is an extension of the club’s existing aesthetic with a vivid colour palette, plush seating and lush greenery amid the outdoor space.

The fifth floor also features the famed Oscuro cigar lounge, imported from London and adapted for Dubai. Set indoors, Oscuro invites members to enjoy fine cigars, chosen from a comprehensive selection by Alberto Lucchelli, The Arts Club’s master of Habanos.

Also taking up residence on the fifth floor is the club’s late-night music lounge, Vega. Combining visual and cultural cues from the 1970s it features plush fabrics, wooden flooring, polished brass and geometric patterns.

The space has been engineered to provide a highly sonic experience for the audience and artists, and it showcase local and regional musical talent

Cigar lounge Oscuro

Commenting on the opening of the fifth floor, The Arts Club Dubai CEO Ajaz Sheikh said: “This new space is the final glorious piece of our club opening. A destination in its own right, the fifth floor offers yet another layer of experience for our members, complementing the lounges, restaurants and terraces we already have.”

The rooftop will be open for members only, seven days a week from 5.30pm to 2am on weekdays and until 3am on weekends. Oscuro will open daily from 5.30pm to 11pm and until 12pm on weekends. Vega will operate on Thursdays and Fridays from 11.30pm to 3am.
