Travellers can drop luggage up to 24 hours before flight
Dubai-based low-cost airline Flydubai has opened its first-ever city check-in centre as part of a new Travel Store in the heart of Sharjah in the UAE.
The new service lets passengers check in prior to their flight, meaning they can skip airport queues and head straight to immigration.
Flydubai passengers departing from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB) can check in their baggage and collect their boarding passes at the facility anytime between 24 and 6 hours before their scheduled flight departure.

UAE airports continue to raise the bar for convenience with Air Arabia recently opening a city check-in centre at Dubai’s Al Barsha Mall, bringing its UAE-wide network to 14 centres, while Dubai Airport (DXB) also recently launched a remote check-in and direct luggage delivery service, allowing travellers to complete check-in procedures from the comfort of their home or hotel.
