The flights to Osh mark the airline’s second point in Kyrgyzstan after Bishkek

Dubai-based low cost carrier Flydubai will launch flights to Osh in Kyrgyzstan from 3 November 2022, with a twice-weekly service.

Osh is the second-largest city in Kyrgyzstan after Bishkek and is located in the Fergana Valley, a densely populated agricultural region, home to more than 13 million people.

Return business class fares from Dubai to Osh start from US$2,050 and economy class fares start from US$450.

When the route launches, Flydubai will become the first UAE carrier to operate direct flights to the destination from Dubai.

Flights will operate from  Dubai International (DXB) Terminal 2 to Osh International Airport (OSS) twice a week on Monday and Thursday, while return flights will operate on Tuesday and Friday. Emirates will codeshare on the route.

Flydubai chief executive officer Ghaith Al Ghaith commented on the launch of the new route, saying: “Central Asia continues to be a fast-growing market and we are excited to see our network grow in Kyrgyzstan with the start of operations to Osh. 

“Flydubai is committed to enhancing connectivity between different cultures and with a combined frequency of nine weekly flights to the market, we are confident that our new service will reinforce trade and tourism relations between the UAE and Kyrgyzstan.”

With the launch of operations to Osh, Flydubai will expand its network in Central Asia to eight points, including Almaty and Astana in Kazakhstan, Bishkek and Osh in Kyrgyzstan, Dushanbe in Tajikistan as well as Namangan, Samarkand and Tashkent in Uzbekistan.
