Luxury Moroccan property offers 200 rooms in a historic building

Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr is now taking reservations ahead of its opening early next year.

Once a sultan's summer residence and later a military hospital, the historic Kasr Al Bahr (or palace by the sea in Arabic) is evolving again as a Four Seasons hotel.

Located just minutes from the Kasbah and the Medina and spread across five hectares of landscaped gardens, the fully restored and enhanced property includes six heritage and five new buildings.

Accommodation includes 200 rooms and suites, most with balconies or terraces with ocean or lush garden views. A highlight is the Sultan’s Riad, spread over two floors within a restored 18th-century building and boasting a private infinity-style pool. The riad encompasses close to 1,000 square metres and can accommodate parties of up to six adults and three children.

Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr will be the third Four Seasons hotel in Morocco, joining Four Seasons Resort Marrakech and Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca.
