Hilton debuts Conrad brand with new Sardinian coast hotel

Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia is now open

Hilton has announced the opening of Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia, marking the luxury brand’s debut in Italy.

Set on Sardinia’s coastline, the 107-room hotel overlooks Chia Bay and is located between Monte Cogoni Beach and Dune di Campana Beach.

The rooms, suites, restaurants and pools offer panoramic views across Chia Bay, which is a protected wildlife habitat home for several species.

Designed by Milan-based hospitality specialists Studio Marco Piva, the hotel interiors reflect the surrounding beauty with natural materials and neutral tones. Locally sourced rocks were used to create terraces, allowing the resort to blend into its surroundings, meanwhile elements of Sardinian culture are incorporated with details such as traditional Sardinian fabric wall coverings and decorative rope details, representing the island’s nautical heritage.

Guest rooms are divided into two areas dedicated to either families or couples, each with their own dedicated swimming pools, private gardens and pathways.

As well as an onsite spa, guests have two restaurants to choose between: La Terrazza, serving a menu of Mediterranean and international cuisine, and Sa Mesa, set in an olive grove, serving Sardinian specialities with a contemporary twist.

Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia is part of the Hilton Honors guest loyalty programme for Hilton’s 18 distinct hotel brands.
