Hyatt announces plans for first Andaz Hotel in Mexico City

Tempt travel clients with one of the city’s tallest rooftop pools at Andaz Condesa Mexico City

Hyatt Hotels has announced a management agreement with Grupo Murano for a new luxury lifestyle hotel, Andaz Condesa Mexico City, to be located in Mexico City’s Condesa neighbourhood.

Located in the landmark ‘I421’ mixed-use complex, formerly known as the Conjunto Aristos, the 213-room hotel will be the first Andaz property in Mexico City and is expected to open in late 2022.

The Andaz brand of luxury lifestyle hotels aim to offer distinctively local experiences celebrating their neighbourhoods by capturing the best elements of local design and cuisine.

La Condesa is one of Mexico City’s most stylish neighbourhoods, with tree-lined avenues, beautiful parks, designer boutiques, fashionable restaurants and a cosmopolitan vibe.

Just 15 minutes from the Centro Histórico, the hotel is well placed for travellers to explore this vibrant quarter of storied plazas

Onsite facilities include a fitness centre, spa, and meeting and event facilities. The property will also offer four distinct dining outlets and one of the city’s tallest rooftop pools with views of the city’s historic landmarks.

The opening of Andaz Condesa Mexico City will build upon the success of the sister Mexican property Andaz Mayakoba, which opened in 2016, and the hotel will join Hyatt’s existing portfolio of properties in Mexico City, including Hyatt Regency Mexico City and Hyatt House Mexico City/Santa Fe.
