Hyatt reveals plans to open seven new luxury hotels

Openings will include Andaz Doha in 2022 and Park Hyatt Riyadh Diriyah Gate in Saudi Arabia in 2025

Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced plans to open seven new luxury hotels and resorts throughout Europe and the Middle East over the next four years.

In mid-2022, the hotel group will open 7Pines Resort Sardinia, part of the Destination by Hyatt brand (pictured); Magma Resort Santorini, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand; and Thompson Madrid.

Andaz Doha will join the collection in late 2022, located in the prestigious West Bay area of Qatar’s capital city

In 2025, Hyatt will unveil Alila Lanzarote, Grand Hyatt Lanzarote and Park Hyatt Riyadh Diriyah Gate in Saudi Arabia.

The new properties will be in addition to the 24 previously announced hotels joining the brand’s luxury portfolio by 2023.

These include La Zambra in Mijas, Spain (formerly the Byblos Hotel) and Fuji Speedway Hotel in Oyama, Japan, both part of the The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand; Grand Resort Qingchengshan, a Destination by Hyatt hotel, in Greater China; and new Andaz properties in Prague in the Czech Republic, Nanjing in Greater China and Pattaya in Thailand – all of which will open in 2022.

In addition, in the same year, the brand will unveil Grand Hyatt properties in Gurgaon, India and the Shenzhou Peninsula in Greater China; Park Hyatt hotels in Marrakech and Jakarta; and Thompson properties in Austin and Denver in the US, as well as Alila Villas Maldives; Alila Taihu Suzhou in Greater China; Hotel La Compañía, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, in Panama City, and Numu in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

In 2023, the brand will unveil Park Hyatt Los Cabos Hotel & Residences in Mexico; Unbound Collection by Hyatt properties Hotel Rhodania Crans Montana in Switzerland and Grand Hansa Hotel Helsinki in Finland; Grand Hyatt Colombo in Sri Lanka; Thompson Houston and Thompson South Beach in the US, and Thompson Monterrey in Mexico.
