Hyatt’s Hotel Flüela Davos opens in the Swiss Alps

The hotel hopes to attract GCC markets seeking ski holidays

Marking the latest development in Hyatt's portfolio growth in across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and the newest addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, Hotel Flüela Davos, is now open.

Hotel Flüela Davos joins three existing Hyatt hotels in Switzerland.

For 155 years, this landmark hotel has been an essential part of Davos' journey from a secluded Alpine village to an established mountainside health resort and spa town.

The property’s 51 rooms and suites provide guests with an alpine sanctuary decorated in warm winter tones. Guests can enjoy their stay 1,560 metres above sea level, with premium amenities, including a state-of-the-art private ski locker, access to the Flüela Soul Spa, a ski butler and a discount on ski rental equipment.

The hotel also has 485 square metres of meeting space and is located just 2km away from the Davos Conference Centre, home to the World Economic Forum.

The hotel's wellness area features two saunas, two steam rooms, a relaxation room, two treatment rooms, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor hot tub. Hotel guests receive complimentary access to the spa and the hotel's new gym.

The hotel's restaurants include Stübli – Ustaria 1942 offering an authentic alpine fine dining experience under the direction of executive chef Evangelos Tzakos. 

Zum Lorenz offers an evening menu on Monday and Tuesday, alongside an expansive breakfast buffet inspired by Swiss gastronomy. The hotel also houses two bars, 1868 Bar & Lounge and Post Gastro Bar & Lounge.
