Ibiza’s Café del Mar to open in Abu Dhabi

The famed beach club will launch in the UAE capital in Q4 2021

Property developer Miral has signed a deal with Capital Motion to bring Café del Mar to Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island.

Set to open this year, the world-famous Ibiza beach bar will be introduced to Abu Dhabi for the first time and will be a significant addition to the hospitality offering at Yas Bay Waterfront.

Founded in 1980 in San Antonio – known locally as Sant Antoni de Portmany – on the Spanish island of Ibiza, Café del Mar was pivotal in transforming this sleepy fishing town into a party haven, frequented by clubgoers from around the globe. 

Since then, the venue has established itself as one of the world’s most revered bars with multiple locations across the world. The Abu Dhabi outpost will offer a Mediterranean-inspired menu with Middle Eastern flavours.
