IHG announces first Vignette Collection property in Porto, Portugal

The newest addition to the company’s latest brand, Casa da Companhia will open in late 2022

IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of its latest luxury lifestyle hotel, Casa da Companhia in Porto, Portugal. 

Comprising 40 suites, Casa da Companhia is set in one of the most prestigious buildings on Porto’s Rua das Flores and the interiors of this historic building have been restored to their original 18th-century design for the hotel’s reopening as a Vignette Collection property.

Set in the city’s picturesque Clérigos district, the boutique property features a spa, fitness centre, signature restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools and a terrace. The hotel is ideally located for guests who want to explore the city.

Casa da Companhia marks the third partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts and Mercan Group, having previously partnered on pipeline openings in Portugal including Holiday Inn Express Evora and Holiday Inn Express Porto.
