IHG to open 12 Holiday Inn Express hotels in Saudi Arabia

The new hotels will add 2,500 keys to IHG's portfolio

IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a Master Development Agreement (MDA) for 12 hotels under the Holiday Inn Express brand in Saudi Arabia with Tashyid. The brand will make its debut in Jeddah in June 2025. 

Holiday Inn Express champions "simple, smart travel" and is aimed at both the leisure and meetings segments, as well as Saudi’s biggest and growing demographic of Millennial and Gen Z travellers. 

The 300-room Holiday Inn Express Jeddah will feature amenities such as high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and premium bedding and pillow options.
