Jordan’s largest aqua park to open next month

Saraya Aqaba Waterpark will open to the public on 3 July

Nestled in the south of Jordan with amazing views of the Eilat Mountains, Jordan’s largest water park is part of Saraya Aqaba, a mixed-use development on the Red Sea coast.

Saraya Aqaba Waterpark will open to the public on 3 July and is being operated by Farah Experiences, the company behind Yas Waterworld and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

Spanning 28,500 square metres, it’s Aqaba’s first water park and has multiple rides and slides, many of which are named after the kingdom’s most-visited destinations.

Along with a range of attractions for the young and the young at heart, there will be casual eateries, snack carts, ice cream stalls and drinks vendors throughout the park.

Commenting on the opening,  general manager Chris Van Der Merwe said: “We are excited to announce that Saraya Aqaba Waterpark will be the first-of-its-kind water park in Aqaba and the largest in the kingdom. Guests from Jordan and around the world are in for an aquatic adventure like no other with slides, rides and experiences suitable for guests of all ages.”

Jordan has reopened to travellers with no quarantine required.
