Jumeirah Muscat Bay offers 206 rooms and five secluded summerhouses

UAE-based luxury hospitality company Jumeirah Group has announced the expansion of its international portfolio with the opening of Jumeirah Muscat Bay, Oman.

Set within the secluded cove of Bandar Jissah between the Hajar mountains and Gulf of Oman, the property is located 15 minutes from the capital Muscat.

Jumeirah Muscat Bay comprises 206 rooms and suites, all offering ocean vistas. Guests requiring added privacy can opt for one of five secluded summerhouses in two- and four-bed configurations or the Sanctuary Villa. Each villa has a private pool, dedicated butler service and access to a private beach.

With a focus on dining experiences, the new resort will be home to five venues, overseen by culinary director Claudio Dieli, who brings more than 26 years of experience in the global culinary industry, including tenures at several Michelin-starred venues.

A multi-cuisine restaurant, Peridot features interactive cooking stations showcasing favourites from all over the world. Diners can also eat at Tarini lounge and poolside eatery Zuka. For sundowners, guests can head to Anzo Bar & Terrace where Asian-style dishes are on the menu and views take in the bay.

Set to open in September 2022, signature restaurant Brezza will provide a cool, contemporary setting for sharing-style seafood dishes by chef Cristiano Goattin.

In celebration of its launch, the hotel is running a special opening offer. A 20% discount on room stays when staying for four nights or more will apply to bookings made before 30 September 2022. The offer includes a complimentary stay for one child up to 11 years of age, staying in the same room or suite, complimentary Kids Club access for junior guests and US$100 worth of credits redeemable across the resort’s food, beverage and spa offerings.
