Mandarin Oriental announces second hotel in Greece

Mandarin Oriental, Athens is set to open in summer 2027

Mandarin Oriental is set to expand its Greek footprint with a new hotel and accompanying residences in the capital Athens. 

Mandarin Oriental, Athens will be located on the city’s shoreline just a 15-minute drive from the centre within The Ellinikon, one of the largest sustainably built urban regeneration projects in Europe.

The hotel will feature a contemporary design complemented by unobstructed views of the Aegean Sea and will comprise 123 rooms and suites, as well as 17 residences, including waterfront villas and apartments. 

Onsite, the development will include a range of dining options and the group’s signature wellness therapies will be offered at the Spa at Mandarin Oriental.

Mandarin Oriental, Athens will be the second Mandarin Oriental hotel to launch in Greece, following the partnership with TEMES SA for the development of Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino, which opens in summer 2023.
