Marriott to launch two Tribute...

Located in West Cairo and on the North Coast, the hotels will occupy SODIC developments

Marriott International and Egyptian real estate developer SODIC have signed an agreement to install Marriott's Tribute Portfolio hotel brand into two of SODIC's developments in Egypt.

Scheduled to open in 2027, the Tribute Portfolio Hotel at Forty West, SODIC's signature residential building complex in West Cairo, will have 170 rooms, including 48 suites, and multiple dining and recreational facilities, and be easily accessible from the newly opened Sphinx Airport and a short drive from the Grand Egyptian Museum and Giza Pyramids.

Anticipated to open in 2029, the second Tribute Portfolio Hotel will be situated in SODIC’s Miami-inspired beachfront destination, June, within up-and-coming Ras al Hekma on the North Coast. Enhancing the vibrant development, the 180-key hotel will offer access to the beach.

The anticipated openings will further expand Marriott’s footprint in Egypt where the company currently has 18 properties and more than 7,000 rooms in operation.
