Mastercard partners with UAE-based Nirvana Travel and Tourism

The travel agency's end-to-end payment transactions will be digitised by Mastercard

Mastercard and tourism management company Nirvana Travel and Tourism have joined forces to provide a payment solution to customers booking travel services in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Jordan. 

The collaboration aims to facilitate travel for both the corporate and leisure traveller, making it more convenient by digitising the end-to-end payment experience across Nirvana’s value chain. In addition, corporate clients can benefit from integrated travel expense management solutions.

According to analysis by the Mastercard Economics Institute, global leisure travel remains robust, up roughly 31% in March 2023 compared to the same period in 2019, representing an impressive 25% year-on-year increase from 2022 to 2023.
