Brand’s first resort property in the Emirates to open in 2028
Hospitality group Minor Hotels will open Avani+ Fujairah Resort in 2028, marking the debut of the brand in the east coast emirate and first resort property in the UAE.
Located on the Gulf of Oman, the beachfront resort will have 232 rooms and 16 villas with between three and five bedrooms, some with private pools and direct lagoon access.
The new hotel will have a range of dining options, including a rooftop grill; an AvaniSpa and fitness centre; a swimming pool; a kids' club and meeting facilities.
Developed in partnership with family-owned Al Fahim, via its hospitality investment arm Emirates Property Investment Company (EPICO), the new resort follows their collaboration on Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites.

Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and Group CEO of Minor International said the opening marks a key milestone for the Avani brand in the UAE, adding that Fujairah has great potential as a leisure destination.

In February 2025, Minor Hotels announced the launch of its NH Collection brand to Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE.
