Nobu Hotel Marrakech to open this month

Morocco's new hipster hotel will welcome guests from 23 January

Nobu Hotels will expand its portfolio into Africa this month with the opening of Nobu Hotel Marrakech on 23 January 2023.

An all-suite property, Nobu Hotel Marrakech will comprise 71 suites and a branch of the popular Nobu Restaurant, plus a panoramic rooftop venue with a pool, dining room and sushi bar. The hotel will also house one of Nobu Hotels' largest spas.

A member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, Nobu Marrakech is located in the heart of Marrakech's Golden Triangle in the Hivernage district.

The interiors of the five-star Nobu Hotel Marrakech pay homage to the building's past, while incorporating Nobu's modern Japanese style.

The suites will be split across three floors, each embodying the Japanese concept of Kokoro, a spiritual connection with the destination, and include 44 Junior Suites, six Deluxe Junior Suites, 18 Deluxe One Bedroom Suites, two Miyabi Suites and one Nobu Suite, each with views of North Africa's Atlas Mountain range or Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech's biggest place of worship.

With its own private entrance, DJ deck and poolside terrace the Nobu Restaurant and Bar will feature Nobu signature dishes including miso black cod and yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, served alongside new dishes, created by chef Nobu Matsuhisa, using locally sourced flavours and ingredients.

Housing one of the most expansive spas in any Nobu Hotel, the Pearl Spa will offer an impressive 2,000-square-metre space where guests can escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Guests looking to relax can visit the 2,000 square metre spa, a heated indoor swimming pool, hammams, Jacuzzis, steam baths and saunas, as well as a VIP Spa Suite, a gym and a beauty and hair salon.
