Outbound travel bookings surge by 122% ahead of UAE National Day

Skyscanner shares insight into the most popular outbound destinations this year 

With the UAE National Day holiday approaching, and a public holiday running from Wednesday 30 November to Friday 2 December, UAE-based travellers are making the most of the opportunity to book a holiday.  

According to Skyscanner, bookings for travel between 2 and 4 December from the UAE soared by 122% in September compared to the previous month.

Searches for travel during the UAE National Day holiday period have been increasing steadily on the platform since August and have surged in the last week as last-minute holidaymakers firm up plans.

Top trending country destinations for UAE travellers for UAE National Day are:

In line with these findings, the top trending city destinations for UAE travellers for UAE National Day are:

1. Doha, Qatar 
2. Manila, Philippines 
3. New Delhi, India
4. Mumbai, India
5. Kochi, India
