Parisian-inspired jazz lounge opens at Jumeirah’s Al Qasr

Bar Buci offers mixology and French bites in a vintage setting

The latest in a series of 13 new or enhanced dining concepts by Jumeirah, Bar Buci has opened at Al Qasr hotel.

The concept is a key part of the beach resort’s culinary renaissance, joining The Hide, La Plage and the soon-to-open new iteration of Dubai institution Al Nafoorah.

Bar Buci’s interiors channel the atmosphere of Paris’ Saint-Germain with its electronic jazz vibe, bohemian styling and vintage art. The lounge serves craft cocktails late into the night. Signature pours include Rodin’s The Kiss, Le Chat Noir and Le Tabou.

The culinary offering has been created by executive chef Eric Turgeon and features braised beef with a shallot aioli, croque monsieur with Reblochon cheese and veal ham; seared tuna tataki in a shitake vinaigrette; foie gras terrine served on toast, and a brioche lobster roll with curry aioli slaw.

Guests can also enjoy the cooler weather on Bar Buci’s terrace, with views of the ocean and the Jumeirah’s signature properties including the Burj al Arab.
