Porsche Design and Steigenberger partner to launch hotel brand

Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels will be positioned in the luxury lifestyle sector and launched in selected international cities

Porsche Design is set to make its hospitality debut with the signing of an agreement with Steigenberger Hotels to create a new brand, Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels.

The new partnership will combine core competencies from both parties, namely high-level functional design and a unique brand experience.

Porsche Design Group CEO Dr Jan Becker and Steigenberger Hotels AG/Deutsche Hospitality CEO Marcus Bernhardt met at the Steigenberger Icon Hotel Frankfurter Hof to sign the agreement. The intention is that Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels, positioned in the luxury lifestyle sector, will be launched in selected international cities.

Commenting on what is a significant step for both companies, Becker said: “Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts and Porsche Design share common values.
