The system allows authorities to manage a large number of bookings while adhering to social distancing requirements
Qatari citizens and residents can now use the Nar’aakom app on their smartphones to book a Covid-19 vaccine appointment. Qatar’s Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) app, which is available on both iPhone and Android, will make it easier for those eligible to receive vaccinations to book an appointment.

Commenting on the announcement, PHCC managing director Dr Mariam Abdul Malik said: “Designed to handle a large number of appointment bookings, our vaccine scheduling system allows us to manage patient flow smoothly, reduce the footfall in our health centres, and facilitate social distancing.”
Applicants will be able to choose three preferred dates and timings for an appointment. They will then be contacted by their local health centre to confirm and book a slot.
Currently, those aged 30 and above, as well as children aged 12 to 18, are eligible to be vaccinated in Qatar.
