Radisson to launch 5 more Middle East resorts by 2025

The new properties will be located in the UAE and Saudi Arabia

Radisson Hotel Group has announced that it will open at least five hotels in the Middle East by 2025.

The first opening will be a beach resort in Dubai followed by a further two resorts in Saudi Arabia in 2023.

The Radisson Resort Dubai Palm Jumeirah, which is due to open in Q2 2022, will feature 389-rooms and will represent the third Radisson-branded hotel in the UAE, following the opening of its second on Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, at the end of 2021 and its existing Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Abu Dhabi in the UAE capital.

The hospitality group has several Saudi Arabia-based properties planned including the 135-room Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills, Itlalat, which is due to open in the second quarter of 2023, and the 120-room Radisson Blu Resort, Riyadh Hills Shalalah. Radisson Blu Resort, Al Khobar Aziziyah is also planned to open later in 2022 in addition to the brand’s existing Al Khobar resort.

Elie Milky, Radisson Hotel Group vice president, business development for Middle East, Cyprus, Greece and Pakistan, commented on the announcement, saying: “The addition of our new and upcoming resort properties as a natural evolution to an all-encompassing brand and product offering for developers is tailored to accommodate the growing demand for staycations and local holidays among residents, as well as leisure demand from international travellers.”
