Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha open exclusively for FIFA World Cup guests

The openings mark the debut of both hotel brands in Qatar

Raffles Doha and Fairmont Doha – which herald the entry of Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brands in Qatar – are now open exclusively to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 guests and the VIP delegation.

The dual-branded five-star properties, housed within Katara Towers, have welcomed their first guests while supporting the global football tournament currently being held in the country.

Raffles Doha
The 132-key Raffles Doha is Qatar’s only all-suite hotel and offers a personalised butler service and bespoke amenities, including an exclusive Frederic Malle scent.

Restaurants at Raffles Doha include Alba, which is the first overseas outpost of the restaurant by renowned chef Enrico Crippa; L’Artisan, which celebrates the art of modern dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Blue Cigar, a lounge that boasts 6,000 literary classics, including some first editions, as well as bespoke cigar collection; and Malaki Lounge serving afternoon tea.

The hotel is also home to Katara Hall, a space at the heart of the hotel with 22-metre-high ceilings, making it the largest ballroom with daylight in the country.

Beauty and wellbeing facilities include nine spa and fitness suites, each equipped with their own treatment rooms and some offering private outdoor terraces and plunge pools.

Fairmont Doha
Fairmont Doha comprises 270 rooms, 92 suites, four themed suites and one presidential suite, all inspired by the interiors of luxury yachts.

The hotel also features an exclusive floor, Fairmont Gold, which is a hotel-within-a-hotel experience, designed with gold mosaic wall tiling and traditional Qatari elements.

Diners can savour Indian cuisine at Masala Library, the concept by restaurateur, television host and author Jiggs Kalra, and Latin American cuisine at Vaya, a vibrant restaurant where south American-inspired dishes and drinks are prepared table-side. Guests can also choose to visit Dôme, a tea lounge serving French fare.
