STR data shows that the Saudi capital’s hospitality sector is performing well

Hotels in Saudi Arabia’s Riyadh have reported better performance after Covid-19 restrictions eased, with occupancy levels, room rates and revenue per available room (RevPAR) exceeding pre-pandemic levels, according to the latest data released by analytics firm STR.

Occupancy rates in Riyadh averaged 57% in June this year, higher than the month before. Average daily rate (ADR) and RevPAR stood at 581 riyals and 328 riyals, respectively.
