World’s 50 Best Hotels winner described as a benchmark for the luxury hotel industry
Morocco’s Royal Mansour Marrakech has won The World’s 50 Best Hotels Art of Hospitality award this year.
The accolade is the first special award to be announced ahead of The World’s 50 Best Hotels 2024 awards ceremony taking place in London on 17 September.
The renowned hotel scooped the award after the 600 voters – who form The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy – named their best hospitality experiences within the past 18 months.
Designed by King Mohammed VI, Royal Mansour Marrakech comprises 53 riads dotted throughout six acres of lush gardens.
The Art of Hospitality Award celebrates the "indefinable and invaluable magic" that goes towards ensuring guests feel taken care of. It is designed to reward a hotel and its entire staff, from reception to housekeeping, for outstanding service and attention to detail.
Voters were asked to consider the ambience created in the hotel, the delivery of unique experiential elements and the overall warmth of the hospitality and environment.
Providing each guest with "their own private palace", Royal Mansour Marrakech epitomises service fit for royalty. The network of hidden tunnels allows personal butlers, assigned to each riad, to deliver impeccably discreet service.
