Individual pilgrims entering the country no longer need to apply for visas through Umrah service agents
According to the latest announcement from Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, applications for Umrah visas can now be submitted through the approved electronic platforms without the need for pilgrims to register with companies in their home countries.
The easing of regulations comes one week after the Kingdom reinstated the visa-on-arrival programme for holders of valid visas from the US, the UK and Schengen area.

Holders of all types of entry visas will be allowed to register for Umrah permits for individuals through the Eatmarna or Tawakkalna applications.
Applicants will be able to arrange accommodation and transportation services, in addition to submitting the required documents. Once approved, the permit can then be printed directly from the chosen platform.
