An agreement has been signed by Porsche, Deutsche Hospitality and Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Development Fund
As part of a new partnership between Deutsche Hospitality and the Porsche Design Group, the region’s first Porsche Design Hotel will open in Saudi Arabia. The property’s location is yet to be announced.
The luxury hotel will fuse design, technology and high-end hospitality, and offer a variety of accommodation options, including standard rooms, suites and penthouses.
Deutsche Hospitality chief executive Marcus Bernhardt said: “We’re pleased to collaborate with TDF [the Tourism Development Fund] to launch new hotel projects in Saudi Arabia, including the first Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotel in the Middle East.
“The project will cater to the sophisticated needs of the Saudi market, creating a unique and innovative experience within the kingdom’s luxury lifestyle hotel segment. A Porsche Design Hotel in Saudi Arabia reflects our commitment to the region and our support for the Kingdom as a leading global tourist destination.”
Steigenberger Porsche Design Hotels is set to open properties in 15 cities around the world, including London, Shanghai and Singapore, and the brand previously announced that a Dubai property is in the pipeline, but Dubai’s Porsche Design Hotel will only open after the Saudi outpost makes its debut.
